According to popular Valorant Twitter leak account, Valorant Leaks, the upcoming Valorant Patch 1.14 will bring about a round of changes to the table. With Brimstone on the sidelines, Patch 1.14 aims to buff the American Agent. However, this comes at the expense of a nerf for one of the current favorite agents on the scene, Omen. Additionally, the Classic pistol will receive an alt-fire rework.
Disclaimer: The following are not buffs and nerfs confirmed by the developers of Valorant. Hence, these are subject to change or not appear entirely.
Brimstone Back on the Table
With Brimstone living in the shadow of Omen these past couple of months, it’s only fair that he gets something going for him. And oh boy is Kirill “ANGE1″ Karasiow going to be happy with these changes.
Allegedly, Brimstone is going to receive a 5 second boost to his smoke duration, followed by a $100 credits decrease in price for his Incendiary. On top of that, his Stim Beacon will no longer be an equipable-type ability, but rather a quickcast.
Omen May Get Sidelined
As if the Brimstone buffs weren’t enough, Omen has received two nerfs. The battle for the controller spot on the team may get shaken up quite a bit now.
Omen mains are going to have a hard time of accepting the two nerfs. Most notable, Omen’s flash is to receive a massive 100% price increase from $200 to $400 credits. Given it’s his only flash, it’s quite a tough pill to swallow. To add to this, his will allegedly take 33% more time to reach a target location, making site executes a headache.
Classic Gets a Rework
Valorant Patch 1.14 is also supposed to bring us a rework for the Classic pistol. More precisely, the alt-fire triple shot.
The video above shows us that the alt-fire now has a wider spread. However, the Classic seems like it can fire the shots at a faster rate. This still makes the Classic a deadly threat in close-quarters combat, especially on pistol rounds.
